										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Priscilla shares the importance and relevance of teaching history, emphasising its potential to foster a sense of belonging among pupils and promote critical thinking from a historical perspective.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She highlights the need to develop a curriculum which gives a more accurate narrative of our history ensuring our local and wider communities are reflected. Priscilla shares how she responded to her schools’ community by developing a black history curriculum. This learning was critiqued and developed by the community and is now part of a bigger piece of work currently delivered in 660 schools across the country.</p>
